The Arab University of Science (UAS) is a major player in private higher education in Tunisia. It brings together two academic institutions: the Private Higher School of Engineering and Technological Studies of Tunis (ESIET) and the Faculty of Legal, Social, Economic and Management Sciences of Tunis (FSEGT).
Its vision is to be the university that offers its students the highest level of quality and expertise.

The quality assurance system we implement at UAS, in line with our values, supports our mission and vision and adopts an approach based on continuous improvement and compliance with the requirements applicable to our educational services.

Who is special education for?

  • Learners with special needs: individuals who may have educational needs that cannot be met by standard teaching practices and assessment methods (e.g. behavioural, communication, intellectual or physical characteristics, gifted individuals, etc.).
  • Students with disabilities: individuals with functional hearing, motor, organic or visual impairments, or learning, attention, language and speech, mental health or autism spectrum disorders that cause disabilities.
  • Persons with disabilities: Any person with an impairment that results in a significant and persistent disability, and who is likely to encounter barriers in carrying out everyday activities.

Social and Environmental Responsibility

The Arab University of Science (UAS) affirms its commitment to social and environmental responsibility, in line with its mission of education, research and innovation. This policy reflects the governance’s desire to integrate social, environmental, ethical and human issues in a sustainable manner into all of the UAS’s activities, operations and strategic decisions. It applies to all of the Arab University of Science’s missions, activities and stakeholders.

Protection of personal data

The processing of data relating to UAS students is carried out in full compliance with the three fundamental rights of the individuals concerned by this data, which are:

– Explicit consent;

– The right of access;

– The right to object;

and, in general, all automated or manual operations whose purpose is, in particular, the collection, recording, storage, organisation, modification, exploitation, use, dispatch, distribution, dissemination, destruction or consultation of data relating to learners, as well as all operations relating to the exploitation of databases, directories and files are carried out in accordance with Organic Law No. 2004-63 of 27 July 2004 on the protection of personal data, as well as Chapter 8.5.5 of ISO 21001:2018 entitled “Protection and transparency of learner data”.
