The 9th International Symposium on Sediment Management I2SM-2026

For the first time, Tunisia hosted the 9th Edition of the International Symposium on Sediment Management, held in Hammamet from June 9 to 11, 2026.

This edition brought together 85 participants, including institutions, laboratories, universities, professionals, experts, and industrial partners from 25 countries.

Among the represented countries were Canada, France, Belgium, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Burkina Faso, the United States, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Japan, and several others.

The opening ceremony officially launched three days of rich discussions, experience sharing, and networking focused on the current challenges of sustainable sediment management.
