Admission to ESIET

ESIET-UAS

Student recruitment sessions are organized for each academic year between July and September. Admission in first registration is done after selection on file and following an interview with a pedagogical and administrative manager.

To be authorized to enroll in one of the ESIET-UAS courses with a view to pursuing an engineering cycle, the candidate must hold a secondary education baccalaureate and have successfully completed:

  • Either a two-year scientific or technological preparatory cycle in accordance with the national programs required for access to the first year of the engineering cycle (ie the third year of university studies);
  • Either a bachelor's degree program in the specialty envisaged or in a scientific or technological specialty allowing access to training as an engineer in electrical engineering: the student will therefore have already completed three years of successful higher education before entering the ESIET-UAS in the first year of the engineering cycle;
  • Either a master's program (one successful year M1 or two successful years M2) in the specialty envisaged and in this case the student joins ESIET-UAS in the second year (i.e. in the fourth year of study higher).

The following diagram summarizes the different modes of admission to ESIET-UAS

Thus an advanced level in higher education is required for the student to apply to pursue engineering studies at ESIET-UAS.

On the other hand, the student must have a good level and appreciable previous results in order to be admitted. This level is assessed by calculating a required score which combines their general averages and the marks in the fundamental scientific modules obtained in their previous studies. Moreover, the conditions of admission are regulated by a circular of M.ES.RS. The score formula applied for the admission of students to ESIET-UAS is detailed in the following appendix

The achievements of students admitted directly to the second year of the engineering cycle are evaluated by a committee in order to identify the first year modules that the admitted student must follow so that his training in the planned sector is fully completed. The recruitment commission draws up a list of successful candidates whom it deems suitable for following the training courses offered, taking into account the institution's reception capacity, and submits it to the school director.
